The Finished Craft
After months of construction the boat is finally completed. A culmination of hard work, wisdom and patience results in a celebration through traditional rituals, sending off the finished boat to the sea.
A craft fit to sail the waters of Pangkor.

The Dragon Bone (Lónggǔ) is the main bone of the boat. It is the first component that the workers assemble, consisting of 3 main parts, which are boat head (bow), boat middle, boat tail (stern).
All the ribs will be held and connected together from front and back by using beams (Diàoliáng) for the horizontal part of the ribs.
The boat deck (Gǒugǔ) will use a similar framing system/bone framing to, then be layered with wood planks above it as the flooring of the deck.
Wooden structures in the shape of ribs (Páigǔ) will be attached to the dragon bone, which has been attached with scaffolding in the shape of the boat.
This is why we have creative archival.
