The community rented a shop unit in town, providing an excellent opportunity for us to apply and test some of our exploratory materials in both indoor and outdoor settings.

 

We are experimenting with clay render finishes on the interior and exterior walls to observe how the material evolves over time in the site’s conditions.

 

The five-foot way in front of the shop serves as a semi-outdoor space where we are exploring the use of rammed blocks. This testing allows us to understand how the material performs under real weathering conditions before we establish the scattered living museum in the village.
